Everyone always asks us “What is slow bread?” Well we tell them that is takes 24 hours to make our bread as it has to go through two fermentation processes…. the look on peoples faces is always that of amazement!
Our recipe is based on a Roman recipe and the secret to our deliciousness is in the hydration process. Made with flour, a smidge of yeast, salt, water and a lot of love. If not all eaten in one go, wrap in a tea towel and store in your bread bin or a tupperware. Can be frozen.
Ingredients: White Bread Flour, Salt, Water and a smidge of Yeast.
