Yogurt cheese has a creamy texture (somewhere between a soft cream cheese and a firm cottage cheese) and is a popular ingredient in Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine.. It is a great way of taking in gut-friendly bacteria and lots of protein, vitamins and minerals. 

It is a perfect side dish to savoury and spicy foods to counterbalance flavours or used just as it is as a spread or in dips, smoothies and toppings.
